I do not want to dwell on the story of Panettone and it’s origin. Let’s just say that it is an awesome sweet bread that make a perfect gift during the favorite season of the year. I love this time of the year in Singapore. It is known affectionately to me as the “winter season” of Singapore. This time of the year is cooling and wet but I simply love baking while hearing the rain pour. Its such a bliss.
It is also perfect to wear a light trench to work and I will not be stare at like a mad person.😉 perfecto!
