桂花面包。。。

This is another crazy time molding dough to my fancy. I like the look of the flower and I have a whole tin of osmanthus. So this is what I do, flavored the plain dough with dried osmanthus and shaped it into a blooming flower. Baked it for 15 to 18 minutes in a 180 degree oven and hope for the best.

Needless to say, the smell was amazing but the taste was not strong enough. I think instead of adding dried osmanthus flowers into the dough the next round, I should steeped massive amount of the flowers in boiling milk before wetting the dough with it.

This is among my earliest baking attempt and obviously you can tell the amateurish attempt.🙂
