Basically, these are a derivative of what remains of the ingredients from ‘the mix’ post ( See previous). I love to challenge myself to come uo with my own pieces from leftovers.
I added chopped hazelnut onto the round shaped biscuits dough and bake it. Then its assembly time. I spooned the remaining lemon curd cream onto the pound cake as per picture and top it with sliced lemon.
It is possibly good as a last minute dessert or an easy dessert to make for a dinner party. Simple yet sophiscated.
