Freshly and Lovingly Baked on : 12th May 2014
I meant to test more recipes and to increase my success rate in macarons making. In addition, there are still some leftover of the basil pineapple white chocolate ganache. So far, the macarons baking has been encouraging. Today, I made a batch with hazelnuts since I ran out of almond. So on with it i went. I toasted the nuts and grind it up. What a smell. Such a sensory treat.
Then I get on with it using the same method and recipe as the previous batches.
I made a Japanese Dolls collection today. Attempted a different shape than the usual round ones.
Colouring involves include black, blue, pink, red and copper.
I must say controlling the consistency of the icing is a headache.
