My trusted Cinnamon Rolls. One that help me to bribe!

Freshly and Lovingly Baked on : 3rd Nov 2014

Yes, you have probably seen these pictures before. I just love these cute bread to death!  I am slowly adding on the recipes to those bakes which I have done before. This is one of my favourite bakes solely because it is such sinful treat that always perk up a lousy day. Luckily, I do not have that many lousy days. Otherwise, I will be weighing alot alot more with these mood boosters! Try it, it will definitely make your day. Its not like the usual cinnamon buns. This has a slight crunch on first bite!

340g Bread Flour
170g Unsalted Butter
4g Instant yeast
1/2 Tsp Salt
2 Tbsp Granulated Sugar
85g Milk
4 Eggs
1 Egg yolk

Mix eggs, yolk, milk in a bowl and set aside. Place all the rest of the ingredients except for the butter in a mixing bowl and mix it. Pour in the liquids and mix well. Knead it well for 5 minutes before adding in the butter piece by piece until the butter got absorbed. It will become a very smooth dough.

Usually, I like to make the dough at night and let it retard in the fridge for a day. This fits my schedule perfectly so that I can get onto it after I returned from work the following day. However, if you were like to bake it on the same day, use lukewarm milk and let the dough rise till double in size in a warm place.

While waiting for dough to rise, prepare the fillings.

150g Brown sugar
3 Tbsp Cinnamon powder
1/2 Tsp Salt
80g Unsalted Butter

Mix all ingredients except butter together and set aside.

Roll the risen dough into a big rectangle. Spread the softened butter all over the dough before sprinkling the filling mix all over. Roll it tightly before cutting into 12 slices.

Let it proof until double in size again before baking it in a preheated oven of 190 degree for 20 to 25 minutes.

Check out this beauty after proofing. I am so in love with this!

The buttery texture thats so mesmerizing!
